The rules that apply to your account, the game and any contribution you make.
1. Who these terms are between
Thyranya is operated by The Experience Lab. By creating an account, downloading the launcher or playing the game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The game is in development
Thyranya is pre-release software. Features, balance, rewards and the world itself may change. Test-server characters, items and progress may be reset before the official release, and we will say so in advance where we reasonably can.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account. Accounts may not be sold, shared or transferred. Tell us immediately if you believe yours has been accessed by someone else.
4. Fair play
Do not use automation, bots, third-party clients, exploits or any other method of obtaining an advantage the game does not intend to give you. Do not harass other players. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and we may do so without notice where the conduct is serious.
5. Contributions and rewards
Contributions support development. They are not purchases of in-game power: nothing offered makes a character stronger than one belonging to a player who has paid nothing. Listed rewards — premium time, mounts, closed beta access and Discord roles — are reserved against your account, and release benefits begin at the official release rather than at the time of payment.
6. Refunds
Contact us if something has gone wrong with a contribution. We will look at every request on its merits, and we will always honour the refund rights the law in your country gives you.
7. Content in the game
The game, its world, art, audio and code remain ours. Characters, items and currency exist inside the game and are licensed to you for use there; they are not your property and have no cash value outside it.
8. Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Servers go down for maintenance, patches and occasionally for reasons we did not plan. During development this happens more often than it will after release.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the game changes. Material changes will be announced on the website and on Discord before they take effect.
